Aran Services: Official Partner to Cosy Homes in Lancashire (CHiL)

Lancashire residents may benefit from a countywide scheme aiming to improve the energy efficiency in homes across Lancashire. Cosy Homes in Lancashire (CHiL) have partnered with Aran on behalf of local authorities across the county to help protect your homes and family from the cold.

We share in the same dedication to deliver cost effective energy efficiency measures and that’s why we’re proud to announce our official partnership with the CHiL scheme. We’ll be installing a number of measures - from cavity wall insulation to full boiler replacements - in a move to help abolish fuel poverty across the county, with the installations being delivered through our North West Division.

The CHiL initiative offers grants and support surrounding energy efficiency.

CHiL have recently delivered a successful programme across Lancashire providing insulation and heating for over 500 homes, this extension of the programme accessing ECO funding will allow hundreds more residents to receive measures which are available either for free or at a reduced cost.

Everyone is entitled to some grant funding regardless of income, but recent changes mean that many homes that are in receipt of a Government means tested benefit will be entitled to increased levels of funding for home insulation and many may be entitled to additional heating grants.
