Frequently Asked Questions & Answers...
My ceiling joists are only 4" (100m) deep. How will additional layers of insulation fit in between them?
Insulation is firstly laid between the rafters to a depth of 100mm, A further layer of 150mm insulation is then laid across the rafters to achieve the required depth. Obviously this will mean that the joists are not visible; extra care will have to be taken when entering the roof space. We can of course fit a standing platform or walkway within the loft spaces if so required, but there will be an additional charge.
